‘BABY’ JESUS
623 BCE – 525 CE/AD
ACCEPTED DATES OF MY BLOGS
BABY JESUS RETURNS FROM EGYPT
What I now know, after a long study of the ASTROPHYSICS DATA of the ROYAL ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY and their reports about the SKIES of ANCIENT TIMES, allowed me to focus on the dates between 623 BCE and 525 CE/AD.
For this section of this BLOG, I will focus on the years 7 BCE through to 3 BCE through to JESUS’ tragic death in 33 CE/AD. My research believes this date to be correct and that JESUS was actually 37-Years old, as his Date of Birth on our DATE LINE was 4 BCE.
Back to our story, his death to me, as I write was totally unnecessary. However, greed I suppose is a human character and will be with us for ever and a day.
The family’s RETURN FROM EGYPT is not too relevant for this BLOG, but seeing it is mentioned by the writers of the NEW TESTAMENT, we make a quick stop over. We know that he was taken as a young baby out of ISRAEL to EGYPT by his parents due to HEROD’s threat to kill all young children. We will have a quick look at the dates when they left and when they returned just for the record.
The information about their ‘return date,’ is often reported that the BABY JESUS, could have been either a few months or a few years old. My research indicates that they returned to ISRAEL when he was 4 years old in the year 2 CE/AD. On their return, they travelled back to the town he was born in, which was NAZARETH. I could not find as to when they moved to BETHLEHEM. However, it is reported that they moved to JERUSALEM from BETHLEHEM, I am sure our journey will reveal the answer. What we do know is that he had to be enrolled at the TEMPLE in 3 CE/AD as that was the year he turned 5 Years Old.
JESUS’ DATE OF BIRTH
My journey to determine JESUS’ Birthdate, took me on a personal journey into a book in draft, when I researched and got to study the BOOK of DANIEL, born in 623 BCE, and taken in 532 BCE. DANIEL’S life was planned by GOD, and it is clear that DANIEL was chosen to study with the CHALDEANS (Isaiah 13:19), in MESOPOTAMIA, today IRAN. DANIEL’S studies included the Study of WRITING, LANGUAGE, ASTROLOGY and NUMEROLOGY.
When DANIEL got to MESOPOTAMIA, he found himself studying alongside the MAGI, the Priests and kings and Lecturers of ASTROLOGY and NUMEROLOGY. Reading the skies was an extreme study for the CHALDEANS.
DANIEL’S life was spared, so were his friend’s lives, and we see that they got to do GOD’S work during captivity. He also got to write most of the BOOK OF DANIEL. What I enjoyed is that he left a lot of writing for others to find.
They were kept ‘captive’ within the region of MESOPOTAMIA (PERSIA), a land situated between the TIGRIS and EUPHRATES RIVERS and is today the land known as IRAN. His studies were paramount, and it was noted by his teachers and the Officials of the region. Soon DANIEL was called upon to be trained at ADMINISTRATIVE Duties of MESOPOTAMIA. It was not long, and DANIEL is allowed to create the first MUNICIPALITY of our time. He receives 127 Satraps (Municipal Regions) to manage, and soon he is sworn into office as MAYOR, and he receives the SCARLET COAT and GOLD CHAIN, a ritual still used by our MUNICIPAL and GOVERNMENT Offices today.
Back to our findings as to when JESUS arrived on earth. I visited ASTROPHYSICS DATA, again, a report about the SKIES of ANCIENT TIMES. This time my focus was on the dates between 550 BCE and 525 AD which is where I found our DANIEL. I read and accepted that he studied alongside the MAGI, the Priests of the ‘EAST’ – but enough said, let us have a look at what the SKIES told us about the arrival of JESUS on Earth.
WE LOOK TO THE SKY – THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM
We understand that the STAR OF BETHLEHEM, must have been a real ASTRONOMICAL PHENOMENON, so I looked whether any ASTRONOMICAL PHENOMENON existed, which fits the dates as reported.
A quick stop at the BOOK OF MATTHEW 2:9 as he reports that the STAR ‘stood over’ BETHLEHEM. However, we know that the Baby JESUS was in NAZARETH. What we see is that the ‘three wisemen’ were on the ‘move’ on horseback, between BETHLEHEM and NAZARETH and so were the heavens.
My theory is that the heavens did not ‘stand still,’ and the star did not ‘hang’ in the sky, they were both moving, and it gave the ‘effect’ of ‘following’ them or was just ‘hanging’ there. Further data tells us that the words ‘stood’ or ‘hung’ are words, never used by ASTRONOMERS to describe Astronomical objects.
But what we see is the following:
It is believed by ASTRONOMERS, that the MAGI originally saw a ‘comet’ in the EAST in the morning sky as they travelled to JERUSALEM and in this time the ‘comet’ had moved through about 90◦, from the East to the South, which is consistent with the 1 or 2 degrees per day, a motion typical of a ‘comet’. Then in JERUSALEM, they were told to go to BETHLEHEM, an additional 6-mile travel to the South. Setting off the next morning, they saw the ‘comet’ ahead of them in the South in the morning sky, hence it appeared to them that the ‘comet’ ‘went ahead of them.’
The COMET of 4 BCE is known as a TAILED COMET and it is believed to have been visible for about 70 days, as per the ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY.
THE MAGI – MAGUS
In the 6th Century BCE, we believe that a priestly group amongst the MEDES (Isaiah 13:17), interpreted signs and portents (activities of momentous significance)
Let us have a look at who these gentlemen were. What we know is that they were not three, but a group of twelve men, priests, or kings. They never travelled around in less than a group of twelve individuals.
The MAGI were increasingly associated with ASTRONOMY and ASTROLOGY. Their observations and the interpretations of STARS was closely related in ANCIENT TIMES and BABYLON, which became the centre of ASTRONOMY and ASTROLOGY. In about 586 BCE the BABYLONIANS sacked JERUSALEM and took the Jews into exile.
From the time of the exile onward BABYLON contained a strong Jewish Colony, and the knowledge of the Jewish prophecies of a SAVIOUR KING. The MESSIAH may have been well known to the BABYLONIANS and to the MAGI.
In the HELLENISTIC AGE some of the MAGI left BABYLON and travelled to neighbouring countries, teaching and practicing ASTRONOMY and ASTROLOGY, which was a core educational subject in the ANCIENT WORLD.
In the first century AD Jewish Scholar PHILO OF ALEXANDRIA stated that the ANCIENT students of ASTROLOGY perceived TIMELY SIGNS OF COMING EVENTS ‘SINCE’ THE STARS WERE MADE OF SIGNS.”
There is a strong tradition that the MAGI who visited JESUS came from ARABIA (now SAUDI ARABIA) which lies between PALESTINE and MESOPOTAMIA. Frankincense, Myrrh, Silk, and Gold were traded along the INCENSE TRADE ROUTE between the Mediterranean and the Eastern and Southern regions of DHOFAR in OMAN. These Trade Routes allowed me to conclude that the MAGI who travelled from the EAST to meet the newly born MESSIAH, had to come from OMAN.
HERODOTUS an ancient Greek Historian born in 484 BCE, in HALICARNASSUS, CARIA, died in ITALY.
He invested in the FIELD OF STUDY called HISTORY and he reports that the MAGI existed In PERSIA (IRAN). During the 6th century BCE, a priestly group amongst the MEDES. They interpreted signs and Portents (activities of momentous significance in the sky). The MAGI, increasingly were associated with ASTRONOMY, but so were our many ANCIENT FAMILIES we had visited over these many BLOGS.
DENISE
The study of the heavens is not practiced by MODERN MAN today. Despite the fact that we read and accept ‘how’ our ancient world navigated the earth by reading the Heavens. I shudder to believe how we ‘think’ that we are today, better than our fellow beings of the ancient world, just because we have GPS (Global Positioning System) on our smart phones.
But I think that we have lost the ‘plot.’ I often look at the heavens and look at ORION and his three bright ‘belt’ stars and NEPTUNE, now visible in our southern skies and they make me smile.
I Pray we can get past our ‘ vanity’ and as they say get back to nature
