JESUS knew that time and stealth were of the essence. He needed to incite a mass revolt against the ROMANS, the SADDUCEES, the PHARISEES and even the ESSENES in JERUSALEM –
He knew that he had to ‘arm’ as many people as he could.
This had to be done without forewarning the ‘enemy’ of the strength of the movement. So, JESUS and his followers met in secret and preached in out-of-the-way places.
Although JAMES still would not accept JESUS to be the PRIESTLY as well as the KINGLY MESSIAH at this point in time, we see that he gets to understand all later.
Things are going well, as JESUS’S network of spies reported that there was no special activity planned against him in JERUSALEM, yet.
JESUS needed a show of strength in the CAPITAL and to demonstrate that he was not afraid to challenge the authorities head on, to establish his right to the THRONE of ISRAEL.
What we see happen next is not fully understood by me, but who am I to question the thinking of our JESUS or was it again just a ‘story’ written into our HISTORY.
He decides to ride into JERUSALEM on a donkey and starts to harass the people selling goods in the temple grounds. As the people scatter in terror, he shouts out his views on their ungodly behaviour. He then beats a swift retreat to BETHANY, two miles to the EAST OF THE CITY –
The team thought that the mission was an immense success, but in fact it was the beginning of the end
The ROMAN and JEWISH Authorities decided to act to end the trouble from this sect at QUMRAN, before it got too big to handle. They acted and we see that JAMES gets arrested and a ‘wanted’ poster was issued for JESUS. A poster giving a visual description of the man who rode into the City on a Donkey. The ROMANS, decided to ‘pull’ the poster. Together the ROMANS and the JEWISH AUTHORITY issue a ‘warrant’ for the arrest of JESUS, that was when JUDAS turns on JESUS.
The ’warrant’ explained that the person known as JESUS to be arrested, was “a man of simple appearance, mature age, dark skin, small stature, three cubic high (4 Feet 6 inches or 137 cm) hunchbacked”.
I do not think it was our JESUS.
The family, starting with his Grand-mother was SAINT ANNE and his Mother was SAINT MARY, both beautiful women. JOSEPH was in the blood line of DAVID and none of them were from AFRICA. So, they did not have ‘dark skins’ – the NOTICE referred to him to be a NAZARITE I accept, and that he had an undeveloped beard, I also accept as he was at war. Was our JESUS small of stature, I cannot argue this fact, but I assume he was not that small – men of ‘focus’ are seldom small of statue – but we leave this one point ‘hanging’
What followed is that our JESUS is arrested at the GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE, within the Valley of JEHOSHAPHAT. GETHSEMANE was a deliberate and preordained place to change the course of history.
The GARDEN is just three hundred and fifty yards away from, and directly in front of the EASTERN GATE of the TEMPLE – THE RIGHTEOUS GATEWAY
As JESUS prayed he may have been high enough to see across the valley to see the two PHYSICAL PILLARS he represented in the building of the NEW JERUSALEM and the coming KINGDOM OF GOD – He watched the sun go down over the recently built TEMPLE, knowing full well that he would be arrested that night.
From the passages in the BIBLE, it is clear that JESUS was worried and on edge in the expectation of his arrest. He was trusting that GOD would cause things to go well for him, saying ‘FATHER, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE UNTO THEE’
JESUS had chosen the timing and the location with great care. The EAST GATE, the GATE of TSEDEQ or RIGHTEOUSNESS was the main gate for the highly important celebration of the NEW YEAR, which was the PASSOVER at the NEW MOON nearest the SPRING EQUINOX that fell in late MARCH or early APRIL.
EZEKIEL 14 -15
“. . .And the glory of the LORD came into the house of the way of the gate whose prospect is towards the EAST. . . . then he brought me back the way of the GATE of the outward SANCTUARY which looked towards the EAST; and it was shut.
Then said the LORD unto me; THIS GATE SHALL BE SHUT, IT SHALL NOT BE OPENED, AND NO MAN SHALL ENTER BY IT; because the LORD, the GOD OF ISRAEL, hath entered by it, therefore it shall be shut. It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter off the PORCH of that gate . . . .
Thus, sayeth the LORD GOD; The GATE of the INNER COURT that looked toward the EAST, shall be shut for six working days; but on the SABBATH it shall be opened, and in the day of the NEW MOON it shall be OPENED.
And the PRINCE shall enter by way of the PORCH of that GATE, and shall stand by the POST OF THE GATE, and the PRIESTS shall prepare his BURNT OFFERING and his PEACE OFFERING, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate; then he shall go forth. . .
That is exactly what JESUS did. He worshipped as near as he dared to the threshold of the EAST GATE on the night of the NEW MOON at the beginning of the NEW YEAR. He saw himself as the PRINCE OF ISRAEL awaiting to be crowned to undertake the duty given by EZEKIEL (655 Years ago) to execute JUSTICE and RIGHTEOUSNESS, MISHPAT AND TSEDEQ.
Through that night JESUS waited for the MORNING STAR to rise. The STAR that rises in the EAST that once heralded the arrival of the newly CREATED KING of ANCIENT EGYPT, which was also believed by the QUMRANIAN. A belief that would be the mark of their NEW KING
This ‘STAR PROPHECY’ found throughout the scrolls and in NUMBERS 24:17, says
“A STAR will rise out of JACOB, a SCEPTRE to RULE THE WORLD”
It is the precise meaning for JESUS, but later became confused by the GENTILE CHRISTIANS as a feature of his birth rather than his brief moment of KINGSHIP – as implied by the author of REVELATIONS.
BUT, words written by JUDAS, DIDYMOS, the brother of JESUS, known as THOMAS. He did not believe that JESUS thought that he would survive the ‘war’
“The disciples said to JESUS, “We know that you will depart from us.
Who is to be our leader?”
JESUS said to them “Wherever you are, you are to go to JAMES the RIGHTEOUS, for whose sake HEAVEN and EARTH came into being”
This clearly indicates that the rift between the brothers was over, and that JESUS had a gloomy view of his own future on EARTH.
300 years later CONSTANTINE would reject the GOSPEL OF THOMAS from his official re-write of the ‘Bible .
He preferred that the line of the ROMAN CHURCH was that PETER not JAMES, become the next leader – a claim that can now be seen as transparently false
That night JESUS intended to wait for the MORNING STAR to rise as he did not expect to be spotted by the TEMPLE GUARDS before daybreak. Despite his impending arrest he conducted a ‘third degree’ raising ceremony, there on the hillside, in sight of the two GREAT PILLARS of the TEMPLE.
NOTE:
Then there are the missing years of JESUS’ life as reported. 18, he leaves the TEMPLE of his TEACHERS and meets with JOHN THE BAPTIST, 19 JOHN baptises JESUS. Then his life hits a cullda-sack. He re-surfaces when he is around 28, and he leaves for QUMRAN. 31, He starts his gathering of ‘souls’ and at the age of 33, he is killed. Could he have been to EGYPT, LUXOR? Time and travel will allow, as we need to also find out why ABRAHAM was at GOBEKLI TEPE, in TURKEY.

Well, writing this BLOG, left me a bit angrier that JESUS had to die, as the evil one was too powerful, but no matter what. HIS WRITINGS LIVED ON WITH HIS BROTHER JAMES, until his death in 62 CE/AD. I am happy to say that JESUS will remain living on in my LIFE until the day I come to my end.
But, I need to say, writing this BLOG, I continue to be confused as to how the ‘churches’ allowed us to not KNOW, what GOD’S true desires were for our lives on EARTH. We could have had so much MORE from our children. Driving around various areas of the province I live in and knowing there are many ‘little’ ‘church groups’ active but yet not ‘living.’ I feel sadden by so many ‘dead’ souls allowed to be amongst our children. What could the answers be?
