WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THEIR PROCEDURES
LAZARUS
One other person who suffered the same experiences of the QUMRAN COMMUNITY’S RULE, was LAZARUS. He lost his nerve when the going got tough towards the end of JESUS’ life. He and his sister MARY, JESUS’ mother, spoke about his feelings, that he was afraid and would have to leave the INNER GROUP.
Four days later JESUS arrived on the scene and his mother told him that LAZARUS her brother, had become ‘dead’ – She asked her son to talk to LAZARUS. JESUS then went to find LAZARUS and persuaded him to be bold and to re-join the ‘LIVING,’ this was not a miracle. You are ‘dead’ when not being part of the church and ‘living’ when you are.
The effect of the ‘trial’ for these two individuals was that they were now cast out amongst the ‘dead at this crucial time, by those that believed the ‘KINGDOM OF GOD’ was only a few days away. They had lost their ‘ticket’ to the NEW ORDER that was about to be realised in ISRAEL.
JESUS, was not a softy, he was extremely tough and focussed to the core to crush the ROMANS. He required his principal followers, to cut all ties with their families as he himself had done.
“And another of his disciples said unto him, LORD, suffer me first to go and bury my father, But JESUS said unto him, follow me; and let the dead bury the dead.”
What JESUS is saying, “let the outside world (the dead) take care of itself,” as his father was not a member of the INNER GROUP, and he continues to imply that they had more urgent business within the ‘Community.’
JESUS seem to have had the same approach when it came to his MOTHER. This shows that JESUS had no time for the members of his family, who were not part of the INNER GROUP. Despite the fact that they have been trying to make peace with him after he had unilaterally taken on the ‘PRIESTLY’ and the ‘KINGLY MESSIAH ROLE’
What we see is that just before the CRUCIFIXION, JESUS’ brother and competitor for the ‘PRIESTLY’ role, JAMES, had come to see the WISDOM of the outlandish actions of his brother. JAMES accepts these ‘new’ teachings. Teachings whereby the disciples had to ‘reject’ their families and live as tough a life as they have never done. The aim was to focus their loyalty on the group.
THE LORD’S PRAYER
JESUS taught the apostles to accept GOD AS OUR FATHER as a complete replacement for their genetic ‘parent.’ We take a look at the translation of the LORD’S PRAYER. It is not certain as to who wrote the LORDS PRAYER . . . . .
“Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts, as we forgiver our debtors
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For thine is the KINGDOM, the POWER, and the GLORY for EVER – Amen”
TRANSLATED of MEANING
The words JESUS used had an entirely local Jewish political meaning at the time
And it is now accepted that JESUS was only talking about his political struggle in freeing the ‘Jews’ from foreign domination for forever, referring them to be the ‘evil’
“GOD, great is your name
ISRAEL will become your KINGDOM
The requirements of HOLY LIVING that you abide by will be instituted in ISRAEL
Sustain us in the time BEFORE YOUR KINGDOM is in place.
Forgive us if we fall short of your HOLY REQUIREMENTS, as we forgive those that let us down.
And do not make life too harsh for us to test our resolve, but help us to avoid error; in our own HOLY ENDEAVOURS
ISRAEL is yours, and the POWER to rule us and the SPLENDOUR, for all time, LET IT BE SO”
We see that the word ‘temptation’ had a different connotation to the way it is used in modern English. We see it actually meant ‘test,’ in the sense of turning up the pressure to see how much punishment a person can take. Rather than the modern sense of resisting pleasure. We also see that JESUS only showed interest to the people INSIDE his COMMUNITY and not the world at large.
THE NEW WAY TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD
The requirement for the ‘END OF THE CURRENT AGE’ and the beginning of the KINGDOM OF GOD was to have the HIGH PRIEST of TSEDEQ (Priest of RIGHTEOUSNESS) at the TEMPLE and the DAVIDIC KING of MISHPAT upon the throne so that GOD would ensure that PEACE, HARMONY, WHOLENESS, COMPLETENESS and PROSPERITY (SHALOM) was in place for evermore
GOD would not assist in these things coming about until a greater state of HOLINESS existed in the land of ISRAEL. JESUS saw his main task as bringing about an improvement in the COMMON PEOPLE. JESUS CARED. . .
Since the destruction of KING SOLOMON’s TEMPLE, which was not built for ‘people’ but for GOD, in 586 BCE, the people of the region of ISRAEL went ‘crazy.’ Defiled their homes and more. But pious ‘Jews’, who were of the QUMRAN COMMUNITY. Kept their lives, homes, and alters undefiled. They followed the LEVITICAL PURITY LAWS and the PENTATEUCHAL DIETARY LAW very carefully.
They would never enter the home of a ‘dead’ person – not physically dead – for the fear of being exposed to all types of ‘uncleanness.’ NOTE that JESUS did enter the homes of the ‘dead’ but for the sole reason of raising them from the ‘dead,’ as he was not easily swayed from his believe, his words were.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN”
Here we see again that the QUMRAN COMMUNITY had assumed that JESUS had ‘departed’ from the core of their teachings. All they saw was what JAMES, his brother saw, that his brother was building a substantial ARMY.
Some of the essential tenets of the TEACHINGS of JESUS can be seen from contemporary works that were excluded from the NEW TESTAMENT
When JESUS explains his belief that even WOMEN are equal to men:
THOMAS wrote about JESUS, and one of the statements he reportedly wrote was this:
“When SIMON PETER said to them in a gathering, whilst MARY, JESUS’ mother was present, ‘Let MARY leave us for women are not worthy of life’ – JESUS then said ‘I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living SPIRIT resembling you males, for every woman who will make herself ‘male’ will enter the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN’”.
What we do not yet know is what ‘make herself male’ meant yet – but I am of course sure it is not the obvious.
But it is of our opinion, that any woman strong in faith, could be as equal to a man in faith – still a puzzle to me. This could be that a woman needs to ‘prove’ herself more than a man will ever be asked to prove his faith.
We need to bring your attention to the fact that SIMON PETER was not suggesting that all women should be killed when he said that they were not ‘worthy of life,’ this was a reference to the fact that she needed to leave the room whilst members of the highest order of the movement, the Living, discussed SECRET MATTERS.
These were words from the RADICAL JESUS THE CHRIST and yet today we still have male priests who vigorously object to women to enter into the priesthood.
We also see the messages left by JESUS in the hands of his brother JAMES – after the crucifixion. It explains how his followers must understand his TEACHINGS:
“Pay attention to the WORD – UNDERSTAND KNOWLEDGE – LOVE LIFE, and no one will persecute you, nor will anyone oppress you, other than yourselves, the ‘the living.” CAN THIS BECOME MY PERSONAL LIFESTYLE PHILOSOPHY? . . . PRAY TIME ALLOWS ME.

JESUS, was amazing – I need to say writing these BLOGS, I got a fresh look at the man who JESUS was and still is today and this research allowed me to re-connect with JESUS. Such WISDOM in the midst of such strife, with the ROMANS nipping at his behind and those of the entire QUMRAN COMMUNITY, disagreeing with him, all the way and to the end. What a Man.
