A MYTHICAL WORLD OR A REAL WORLD

This BLOG will look at a period of approximately 250 000 years, a period the ASSYRIANS and the SUMERIANS went to great lengths to preserve who they were, and what they had achieved since their arrival on EARTH. A period of more years earlier than we originally anticipated.

JOB 9:9 speaks about ORION and PLEIADES. “Which maketh ARCTURUS, ORION, and PLEIADES and the chambers of the South,” I am not sure where south could be, but accept that the ‘direction’ was a position as to where he found himself on the EARTH. But then again the Constellation of TAURUS is positioned South of the PLEIADES in the HEAVENLY SKY.

JOB 38:31, in conversation with GOD, he asks, “can’t thou bind the sweet influences of PLEIADES, or loosen the bands of ORION,” giving acknowledgement that PLEIADES and ORION were known by the BIBLICAL FAMILIES.

PLEIADES, a lovely story. It is assumed to have been formed 100-million years ago. It is made up of a group of 800 stars, all born around the same time. Their location is about 410 Light Years from EARTH within the Constellation of TAURUS.

It is also known as the “Seven Sisters” and within the space world, it is known as MESSIAR 45. It is said that it derived its name from the Greek legend, but in my mind it is the other way round. The Greeks ‘adopted’ what was put in place by the “Mythical World People.” The Greek story goes, that PLEIADES are the seven daughters of the TITAN god ATLAS and Ocean nymph, PLEIONE. During ancient wars ATLAS rebelled against ZEUS, the king of gods, who sentenced his enemy to forever hold up the heavens on his shoulders. The sisters were so sad, that ZEUS allowed them a place in the sky in order to be close to their father. It is told that the seven brightest stars in the formation glows a HOT BLUE. Unfortunately, PLEIADES does not have a long-life span, such as our SUN. it is believed that it will burn out over the next 100-million years.

The BIBLE also speaks of the ANNUNAKI. The ANNUNAKI were the children of ANU and his wife ANTU. They lived around 3 000 BCE, during the time of ENOCH.

One of ANU’S sons was GIBIL or NUNSKA. He was known to have been an ASSYRIAN Fire god. It is said that he had a special task, which was to sit in judgement over souls of men who in their lives had been unjust judges.

ANU’S daughter was GULU the ancient name for the EARTH MOTHER goddess. She was the consort of NINURTA, the son of ENLIL, the god of water. He succeeded ANU. An interesting fact is that ENLIL, in SUMER and AKKAD, was the god of the CONSTELLATION of ORION.

NINURTA, in SUMER and in AKKAD, was the god of war and the god of the CONSTELLATION OF ORION. ORION, was the son of POSEIDON.

ANU, in AKKADIAN means “SKY” OR “HEAVEN.” The SUMERIANS referred to ANU as AN. He is said to have been a ‘divine personification of the SKY,’ king of the gods and ancestor of many of the deities in ANCIENT MESOPOTAMIAN RELIGION.

It is written that he was passive, and it is believed that the EANNA Temple, or the white Temple, of the JAMDAT NASR PERIOD, in URUK originally belonged to him. It was built shortly before 3 000 BCE. It is also speculated that the SUMERIAN or MESOPOTAMIA goddess, INANNA, was the goddess of love, sex, fertility, and also war. INANNA, might also have lived at the EANNA TEMPLE as she was acknowledged by the AKKADIANS.

ZIGGURAT, means ‘to be high or raised up.’ They were designed to elevate the mind and the heart to supernal contemplation and provide a scale of descent for the gods to come down to EARTH.

It is written that ERECH could have been the home of GILGAMESH, the hero of the AKKADIAN epic. Archaeologists have found that this city was one of the oldest of BABYLONIA, and dates back to the year 4 000 BCE, around the time of ADAM.

The ZIGGURAT or TEMPLE was made, on the outside of baked brick set in bitumen, not sure how it came to be known as the WHITE TEMPLE. It was ruled by UR-NAMMU, who seem to have restored it from around 2 060 BCE to around 1 955 BCE in the time of ABRAHAM.

It is also believed that UR-NAMMU assisted URUKAGINA to write the initial 29 CODES OF LAWS. Which was completed by HAMMURABI, and got to be known as the HAMMURABI CODES OF LAW, which was believed to have been written around 1 728 BCE to about 1 686 BCE. The HAMMURABI CODES OF LAW, has a total of 282 LAWS. Of which all was received from the god SHAMASH otherwise known as the ELAMITE god IN-SHUSHINAK. The ZIGGURAT at CHOGA ZAMBIL, southeast of SUSA, built in 1 280 BCE was built in his honour.

Evidence of their existence was found on a “KUDURRU.” This is a type of stone document, used as a boundary stone. It was a record of LAND GRANTS to vassals by KASSITES and later dynasties in ANCIENT BABYLONIA, between 1 600 BCE to around 700 BCE.

The KASSITES, were people who inhabited parts of the IRANIAN PLATEAU, from the ZAGROS MOUNTAINS, south of the CASPIAN SEA. They controlled BABYLON after the fall of the OLD BABYLONIAN EMPIRE around 1 531 BCE to about 1 155 BCE, all the way into the year 700 BCE, but I could not confirm this later date of BABYLON being occupied by the KASSITES.

What is also seen on the KUDURRA, is a lady goddess, now known as GULU, the mother goddess or the EARTH goddess, sitting, with a cosmic ‘serpent’ or was it a depiction of a comet. She is known as the patroness of HERBS, HEALING and LIFE. Her flowered garment shows, her love for plants. Her hands are lifted in prayer. Most interesting, she had her dog sitting at her feet, her dog, being the defender of the home.

Let us take a further look at ANU. His father was ANSHAR, the SUMERIAN god of the CELESTIAL WORLD, who was born of the ‘serpents’ LAKHMU and LAKHAMU, as the SKY and MALE principles. We know today that the ancient world referred to COMETS as snakes in the sky. I am not sure if we can accept that the ‘serpent’ was a real snake or not, as his ‘birth’ was said to have been of a ‘serpent.’ It is said that ANSHAR mated with his sister KISHAR, and they produced ANU (the son of a brother and a sister). Whilst KISHAR became the EARTH and the FEMALE PRINCIPLE, they are said to have produced ‘great gods.’ What we do know is that their children were EA or ENKI, APSU and many more. EA married NINKI, or DAMKINA, not sure where she came from, but their children were MARDUK and NANSHE. NANSHE, was the goddess of springs and waterways. She also worshipped in ERIDU and in LAGASH.

This is where it gets puzzling, as the story, represents the story of ADAM and EVE. It is said that EA, ‘meaning house of water,’ was able to with his divine words create mankind from clay with the help of the SUMERIAN goddess ARURU. This story forms part of the epic of GILGAMESH of which I am not ‘fond’. However, it includes a bit on ENKIDU, the wild man, but I do not have much to say about him. In ANCIENT TIMES, the year began with the entrance of the SUN into the constellation of ARIES, March 21, and ended in February.

The name ANNO was given in honour of OANNES, identified with JANUS. It is so written that OANNES or JANUS was the original teacher of the CHALDEANS, which is the teaching of science and art and he was also the one who warned them of the ‘FLOOD.’

In PLEIADES, OANNES was under the name DAGON.

ANU never entered a fight against anybody but was the architect of many fights. With time ANU’S authority came to an end and ENLIL or ELIL the god of the EARTH or NATURE and WIND, AIR and HURRICANES, also FLOODS, took over the rule. His children were AN (Heaven) and KI (Earth) and he separated the two. ENLIL, was regarded as the god of agriculture.

What I do believe and happy to share, is that the ANCIENT ARABS knew the CONSTELLATION of ORION, but gave it a different name, AL JAUZAH, and later AL JABBAR, meaning the “great giant.”
